The wallet is at the bottom of your backpack which shows the amount of global gold you have in your wallet. You can add global gold to your wallet in a bank window. Withdrawing gold from your wallet also happens in a bank window. Gold that would normally be added into your bank due to some action, will now be added straight into your global gold wallet.

Global gold functions like a normal gold, but you don’t have to carry it in your inventory.
