Custom Titles are an optional cosmetic feature that allows players to personalize how they appear in the Rise of Agon world. While creative expression is encouraged, all Custom Titles must align with the spirit and letter of our Terms of Service, Naming Policy, and Code of Conduct.

By requesting or using a Custom Title, you agree to comply with the rules below. Toxic Rain Studios LLC reserves full discretion over approval, modification, or removal of any Custom Title at any time.

1. General Requirements

Custom Titles must:

  • Be respectful, non-disruptive, and appropriate for a global multiplayer environment.
  • Comply fully with the TOS, Naming Policy, and Code of Conduct.
  • Not create confusion, impersonation, or misrepresentation.
  • Not undermine moderation, enforcement, or community safety.

Approval of a title is not a guarantee of permanence.

2. Prohibited Custom Titles

Custom Titles will not be approved if they include or imply any of the following:

2.1 Hate, Harassment, or Offensive Content

  • Slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language.
  • References that demean or threaten individuals or groups.
  • Sexually explicit, obscene, vulgar, or lewd content.
  • Violent, extremist, terrorist, or criminal references (including glorification).

This includes misspellings, abbreviations, symbols, or coded language intended to bypass filters or moderation.

2.2 Impersonation or Authority Abuse

  • Titles that imply staff status, moderation authority, or official affiliation
    (e.g., GM, Admin, Moderator, Developer, Staff, Support).
  • Titles that impersonate or falsely represent another player, clan, or real-world individual.
  • Titles designed to mislead others into believing the player has special privileges.

2.3 Commercial, Promotional, or RMT-Related Content

  • Advertising or solicitation of services, businesses, or websites.
  • References to real-money trading, boosting, or account services.
  • Promotional content for external platforms, communities, or products.

2.4 Illegal or Harmful Behavior

  • Promotion of illegal substances, activities, or real-world crimes.
  • Encouragement of scams, fraud, or deceptive practices.
  • Content that violates local, national, or international law.

2.5 Disruptive or Bad-Faith Titles

  • Titles intended to provoke, troll, bait, or harass others.
  • Titles created to skirt rules through ambiguity or technicality.
  • Titles that undermine fair play, moderation, or enforcement.

3. Formatting and Technical Guidelines

Custom Titles must also meet the following criteria:

  • Reasonable length (as defined by the game client).
  • No excessive symbols, spacing, or visual manipulation.
  • Must remain readable and appropriate in all supported languages.
  • No Unicode abuse or character tricks to disguise prohibited content.

3.1 Capitalization and Grammar Standards

Custom Titles must follow standard English capitalization and grammar conventions.

  • Suffix titles should use lowercase articles and prepositions (e.g., the, of, and) unless they appear at the beginning of the full displayed title.
  • Capitalization should be consistent and readable.
  • Titles that rely on unusual capitalization to draw attention or provoke may be rejected.

  • Ibis of the North
  • Ibis The Brave
  • Ibis Of The North

Staff Discretion:
Toxic Rain Studios LLC reserves the right to correct capitalization, grammar, or minor formatting issues in approved Custom Titles to ensure consistency and readability,

4. Enforcement and Moderation

  • Toxic Rain Studios LLC retains sole discretion to approve, deny, edit, or remove any Custom Title.
  • Titles may be removed with or without notice, even after approval.

5. No Appeal Guarantee

While players may contact support if they believe a title was removed in error, approval or denial of Custom Titles is not subject to guaranteed appeal. Final decisions rest with Toxic Rain Studios LLC.

6. Final Note

This policy is not exhaustive. If a Custom Title violates the spirit of fair play, respect, or community safety—even if not explicitly listed—it may still be denied or removed.

When in doubt, choose a title that reflects creativity without targeting, misleading, or offending others.
