On Monday, March 16th, we will be performing extended maintenance in preparation for an upcoming server migration to new hardware.
During this maintenance window we will create a complete system image of the current server. This image will be used by our hosting provider to deploy the environment on the new infrastructure while preserving the current system exactly as it exists today.
Because the entire server must be copied sector-by-sector, the server will remain offline for longer than during normal maintenance. The total downtime may last several hours depending on how long the imaging process takes to complete.
Once the system image has been successfully created and verified, all services will be brought back online.
This migration is part of our ongoing efforts to improve server stability, reliability, and performance going forward.
